The team members of the Vail Mountain Rescue Group are excited about hosting the first International Conference on Mountain Rescue to be held in North America. The team has hosted 2 previous Mountain Rescue Association annual conferences which were “First Rate” and this Workshop and Conference promises to raise the bar for all future MRA events.

Our goal is to provide an affordable venue consisting of hands on exercises, opportunities to discuss the various solutions to the field problems, and to create a forum for dialogue on the similarities and differences within the International Mountain Rescue Community.

We will incorporate Technical Rock, Vertical Canyon Rescue Systems, Cave, and a Night Wilderness Search venue.

Come and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding wilderness areas, the hospitality of Vail, Eagle County, and Western Colorado.
